Photo Diary: Trips With an Ilford HP5 Plus B&W Disposable

Film from 2018, 2021, 2022

We know film is precious and expensive, even from a disposable camera. So the two I had stayed with me for years. I didn't have a full disposable from one specific trip but on various trips mostly across California; Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sea Ranch, Truckee, and even a little Encinitas. Outside of California, I brought it to Arizona. These are some of my favorites from those two Illford single-use cameras, which are now gone. I have since replaced it with an Ilford Sprite 35mm ii point and shoot I bought a few years ago. My first film roll from that is in development now (finally), so I'm curious how those will turn out and if they will at all.

In B&W: An ellipse in the ceiling, framing the sky.

In B&W: Old man leaning on rail looking at cars.

In B&W: Amongst trees and their shadows.
