The conversation for the new Bluxom Salon logo started where Bluxom was when they first opened, and shifted into where Bluxom Salon is today and where they wanted to be. With a new sense of ownership due to a change in the business, the new logo was to put the feminine space first, pushing the weight of the Art Deco past into the background—ultimately turning it into a more fresh and welcoming space. For this project I worked one-on-one with the owner to redesign their logo and lettered icons, establish typography and colors to use within the brand, and searched and worked with the appropriate vendors to produce the print materials.
